Roof Basket increases your travel storage capacity — so there’s no need to leave anything behind or take two cars and spend twice on gas. Roof Basket frees up interior space, letting you and your passengers enjoy a more comfortable ride on long road trips. Because you have two sizes options, large and XL, plus the ability to make both sizes longer, there’s a perfect fit for every family and every trip. Crossbars required and not included.

Whichever size you choose, remember to always use proper quality ratchet straps — such as WeatherTech’s Ratchet Tie-Down Straps — to secure your gear.
Both basket sizes are made from a high-strength plastic that’s durable and designed for years of use, so the Roof Basket won’t rust, chip or corrode like metal roof carriers. The WeatherTech Roof Basket has been tested to hold up to 175 lbs. of cargo; the roof rack itself weighs 25–35 lbs. Please respect the maximum load provided by your vehicle manufacturer when loading.
Roof Basket is crash tested by an Independent Testing Lab in the U.S. and passed the ISO 11154 standard for roof racks. Always use caution and common sense when installing and using your WeatherTech Roof Basket.

Yes. Factory vehicle roof crossbars are required to properly install Roof Basket; the four (4) adjustable U-clamps that are included allow you to attach Roof Basket to crossbars with different spacing and mounting points.
